A 30-rack of Bud Light Lime costs more than a barrel of oil right now. Also, climate justice essayist Mary Heglar on the connections between COVID-19 and climate.
1) Bud Light Lime shouldn't cost more than anything. It's absolute dreck.
2) Tomorrow, it will be 28 days since I last filled my car up, and I still have almost 3/4 of a tank of gas. I can't remember the last time that I went that long without filling up (and it's probably never).
1) Bud Light Lime is actually pretty good right after a really hard cardio workout (like hockey!). We call it GatorBeer
2) Is anyone estimating what current global carbon emissions are right now? Have we accidentally met the goals set by the Paris accords? The stories about air and water cleaning up are very heartening in this awful time...
Maybe some very short-term gains, but since we are not busy preparing for post-corona life with different energy infrastructure, we'll revert to the norm very quickly after this pause.
I think the important metric to watch is CO2 in the air, which doesn't seem to have been effected much at all because of the latency in that system:

I got something (sorta) on number two tomorrow. Number one, hell yeah! B-Double-Ls!
❤️👍🏻

I really like how both comments on today's newsletter are responses to Bud Light Lime. You guys truly are my community.
My favorite: $ / barrel of WCS (tar sands oil) < $ / barrel of monkeys: https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/bitumen-wcs-wti-oil-1.5511386
