There isn't a single aspect of Project 2025 that isn't horrifying and/or terrifying.

Project 2025: "Let's literally add fuel to the fire."

Emily etal,

There is no doubt that 2025 is scary, but I wonder what makes us think that highlighting how bad it is will help persuade people to vote differently. Fear attracts attention. It's what comes next that is important. How do we convert the fear into action? Too much fear creates fatigue, apathy and disengagement. Our climate movement has been trying to create a fear of a blistering hot future world for 40 years, and it isn't working.

People generally can't be "persuaded." Rather they need to be "attracted." Madison Avenue has known this for 75 years. So this begs the question, how can we attract? Can we create an identity that attracts? We can if we also highlight our vision. Combine pointing out the problems with 2025, but couple it with our vision of a better world. Otherwise we're just adding to the noise. Thanks for what you do.

I think that fear of change works well for the reactionary forces bent on keeping fossil fuels "dominant." They've now sowed fear of wind, solar, batteries, EVs, etc. quite effectively. Multiple kinds of fear. Multiple channels of PR. Fear of the Green New Deal.

So that makes creating attraction harder. But for sure it needs to happen. I'm not a sales and marketing guy.

I recently reviewed some plans for school climate education. Lots of pretty doomer stuff and what really seemed like mostly "nature" education. I provided some links to packaged models of wind turbines and tracking solar. Seemed like this might attract some kinds of kids. But it didn't seem to generate much interest from the educators.

Project 2025 will be dead before it starts with the Climate Changes coming in fast and hard. Richard Crim shows how Greenland ice will be melting non stop until it has cleared most of the ice. How long this takes is the only question. See the article on Medium - https://smokingtyger.medium.com/living-in-bomb-time-42-a5e95ed54e93
