Thank you for this interview Emily Atkin. It is excellent. And good luck to Chase now he has his voice and freedom! A few weeks ago I was fortunate to hear Dr Katharine Hayhoe speak. All that you all said on the panel resonated with her mantra - that many more people than "you" think care about climate change and that the best thing an individual can can do is normalize that discussion about the topic by ... talking about it!

This is an awesome way to show people how we are being silenced in reporting about Climate Change. More and more science is coming with dire news of the future. People that hide the facts will be shown out, as the entities that require certain weather and ground thaw (farmers, cities and towns) or dependable assumptions to make a profit (insurance, tourist destinations and sporting events), can't succeed with the old way of doing business. Until then, keep up the great work. The truth is coming out.

We offered an exclusive of the optical gas imaging video of the Musk Colossus data center to first CBS then NBC. Both initially wanted the video then declined due to fear of litigation. Tracy did her best but couldn't make it happen. If that video had been on national TV, it would have helped people fighting data centers understand the intense pollution they were facing.

Optical gas imaging makes the invisible pollution from oil and gas visible. https://youtu.be/mSWgDOzfKRI?si=AQwWARpeOiX325gC

Ugh that is so frustrating!

With legacy media corps caving to Trump these days, independent media is fast becoming the go to for a lot more people. I look forward to more like this.

I feel like the more technologically literate we as a society get, the more people are going to be seeking out climate reporters like Chase and you as trusted sources of information and ditching the established names who have little to say about a worsening humanitarian crisis. It's bleak at the moment, but having you folks in our corner provides some measure of encouragement.

Great interview. FYI, my Global Warming Chartbook paints a horrendous business-as-usual future 50 years hence, i.e., a future that must not be allowed to happen. https://www.raagnew.com/global-warming-chartbook.html

Chris Hayes once famously tweeted that "climate change stories are a “palpable ratings killer.” Networks are disincentivized by their fossil fuels advertiser $$s to figure out how to weave climate into all their other stories which are also climate stories.

OMG this is fantastic - I'd love to bring him on my podcast "Is Anything Real?" to talk even MORE about that struggle with balance and this decision, if you would be open to making an introduction!
