Thanks for this. I gave up reading his posts a while ago. Maybe I’ll force myself through this one so I have responses prepared. I know a lot of people who love this guy. I appreciate his advocacy for the trades and it really sucked to watch him make this turn.

When I first started liking Mike Rowe, I had no clue he could be such a misogynistic ass, but there you go. What a positive douchecanoe. Not gonna read his 6K word paean to his own 'brilliance.' Do. Not. Want. Definitely don't need to read any more than the snippets you gave us to know that it would raise my BP beyond an acceptable level. Thanks so much for doing the hard, nasty work for us and distilling this dreck.

Would love to have you write a piece next week about how Biden & Kerry will be seriously compromised in their attempt to *climatesplain* to the rest of the world at their Earth Day summit because THE US IS BUILDING A TAR SANDS PIPELINE IN 2021! 🤦🏻‍♂️

So far I haven’t read that anyone has pointed out how absurd it is to host a summit & pretend to lead on climate while letting Line 3 move forward. Since you are one of the relatively few to report from MN, you’re in a good position to make that important connection.

Ten years ago, when CO2 was 393 ppm, KXL was described as ‘game over’ for the climate and the fuse to the world’s biggest carbon bomb. So what does that make Line 3, which will move roughly the same amount of tar sands after CO2 levels have now reached 420 ppm?
