Regarding the newsletter last week about Colorado news outlets failing to include climate change coverage in reporting on the heat wave, it seems someone heard Chase Woodruff's concerns and is trying to course correct: Fort Collins, CO's newspaper is hosting a climate change Q&A in collaboration with scientists from Colorado State University, https://www.coloradoan.com/story/news/2021/06/28/coloradoan-hosts-climate-change-q-a-colorado-state-experts/5322524001/

It's an opportunity for subscribers to submit climate-related questions that the scientists will answer in a live session next week. The article includes acknowledgement that many of the environment-related disasters and extreme events they report are related to climate change. It's not the same as including climate change discussion in those specific articles, but it's something?

"@AOC tells a group of hundreds of ⁦@sunrisemvmt protestors from across the country: “we’re going to get [climate] in that infrastructure bill.”

Good thing the White House explicitly agrees

"Psaki mentioned that the deal includes investments in addressing legacy pollution, clean energy transmission, and focuses on electric vehicle buses.

“Whether or not everyone is aware of all those specifics, that’s incumbent on us to keep conveying that, communicating it, listening, and making sure people understand that this is a down payment and the president will continue to advocate for, press for, work for, even more on climate as he will in the reconciliation bill in the process moving forward,” she said"

So I'm rather unclear why you retweeted Evan Weber from Sunrise, who apparently didn't read the article he linked, or is dishonest about what Psaki said. Nowhere does she say the bipartisan bill is "sufficient to act on climate" or what is "scientifically necessary". So what exactly should the White House clarify like Evan wants?

I think some clarification from you would be nice. Did you read what Psaki actually said or just Evan's tweet?
