Once again, corporate profits win out against public safety and the U.S. has a federal government that could care less, unless there's money in it for them, or for Trump and family personally.
This has been buggin' me for months. PFx just needs to be kept out of our "stuff" as much as possible. Of all places, in flippin' frying pans which we've know are a mess for what 20 years. Where were the MAHA moms when we needed them? I guess they already have stainless or whatever.
Cookware affordability my ass. These chefs, it's almost like a satire in The Onion.
Great article. Many good stories about PFAS out of the US. So many that it makes sense that every person in the world has traces in their blood. Now even in our organs. Cancer be dammed, full profits ahead.
These celebrity chefs professing to care about the everyday cooks buying their products should speak with the average people ingesting DuPont's chemical runoff. Also, I smiled when I read the rejoinder to Steve Burns' umbrage at nonstick cookware being singled out. Um, yeah, maybe the fact that food gets prepared in it is a factor...just spitballing here.

I replaced my teflon pans with ceramic pans. They cook much better! I got them for my kids as well.

Wow, I never would have even imagined this one...what a heap of cancer-causing crap!

CSA successfully challenged claims by a ceramic cookware maker that nonstick pans can release harmful PFAs: https://bbbprograms.org/media/newsroom/decisions/caraway
