There aren't many people I say this about, but he lived too long.

Yes he was pro-business but too bad he didn't see solar panels, windmills, batteries and fuel cells as businesses. Worst of all, he didn't make an effort to learn climate science. His laziness was appalling and threatening.

It would be not without influence on policy if the fossil fuel propaganda machine could be turned around to work for hard fossil fuel production limits, such limits meaning higher prices. Having them pull on the same rope as Bill McKibben would be nice, if they started pulling in the same direction too.

I grew up listening to Rush Limbaugh. Was quite a shock when I got internet and tried to look up the sources he cited...

1) I'm glad to see Fish getting a much-deserved treat.

2) Rush Limbaugh is the reason why we are where we are politically right now. Without him, there's no Fox News, no OANN, no Newsmax, no Hannity, Carlson, Levin, etc. They all exist and pollute our airwaves because of him. He singlehandedly did more to destroy this country than any other person in my lifetime, and yes, I include the Mango Menace in that list because without Limbaugh, there's no Trump (as a political figure), either. There's a special place in hell for him and I shed not a single tear when I heard the news of his passing yesterday.

Ok, that's depressing. Rush had some great skills, good voice, good timing , humor and it all got misused on climate denial, racism, misogyny & tearing people down.
